Manager mantra

If you can think you can plan everything... you are bound to fail as a manager..."

When you do anything for the first time you are bound to be anxious about doing things right . You want to avoid looking like a fool. You want people to think you know exactly what you’re doing.

But compensating by trying to manage and control every detail of your is a big mistake. You need to lean the other way, giving yourself and your staff lots of room to grow.
Think: first date, first day at a new job, first sex.

Could you comprehend and exactly knew how the Bike works when you first ventured into Driving one.
Did you do a proof of concept {POC} before you went on your first date...

Just the way VLCC is a synonym for fine tuning your physique and getting rid of that extra bulge of fat from a hefty body. GLCC is the parlance i prefer when it comes to people management or even self grooming.
The key words here, "grow," "learn," "challenge," "confidence".
all have something very basic in common: Failure.

So Try your luck when you write your next exam and think about the possibilities to FAIL
Of course, there is a stigma to losing or failing, in order to measure the skill level of the most skilled participant, the exams needs to go far enough to cause that person to fail.
(A handy Interviewing technique)

If you successfully answer all the questions, you are taking the wrong test. If someone on your staff successfully completes every assignment, you need to give them tougher assignments. Growing and learning require reaching, aiming for ever higher goals. If you always succeed in meeting your goals, then your goals are too low.
